A Very Happy Chinese New Year to all of you!!


As we welcome in the YEar of the Dragon on the 23rd of January 2012, we would like to wish you all a year of prosperity, wealth, health and happiness!!


A couple of events happening these next few weeks:


1) 21st of Jan - Chinese New Years Street party and fireworks show in SA's Frist ChinaTown, Commissioner Street.


celebration Nelson Mandela's 93rd birthday!

During this upcoming Monday, the 18th of July, Nelson Mandela will be celebrating his 93rd birthday! People from all across South Africa in keeping with his legacy will be donating 67 minutes of their time to do some good!


We know that it is not always possible to give your time but we as the Chinese community believe that we can still do some good!


To this end we are encouraging members of the Chinese community to please pledge some money to a good cause. The cause we have chosen is our very own Chinese Old Aged home – Hong Ning.
